I really had fun making my first wallpaper, Midnight. So I decided to follow it up with another one. I’m calling this one “Blocks” and it comes in seven eight color themes, with and without an embedded Apple logo. Max resolution – 2560×1600.
UPDATE After reading a few of the comments, Nando‘s great idea to set the original wallpapers to cycle every 5 seconds got me thinking. So I updated the download with a special group of wallpapers I created just for that purpose. Here’s a video on how to set it up, along with a demo of the effect at the end:

Great set! I recommend setting it to cycle at each 5 seconds for a great effect.

Nice one Dan. I was going to ask you if you made this one yourself when I saw the screenshot of your desktop. Looks great.

Very cool! I’m getting all kinds of awesome ideas that I want to try now!
Incidentally, this kind of stuff always makes me paranoid that I’m going to be wasting precious processor resources. With a new MacBook Pro and 4 gigs of RAM am I being silly? (That wasn’t meant to be rhetorical by the way, I seriously don’t know).

@Teletraan I – I haven’t noticed any slowdown on my machine, maybe check your CPU/RAM usage when it’s running to see if it has an effect. Possibly with iStat?
